How this guide works, sources & limitations

Each goal uses a small, fixed set of editorial summaries from NHS and NIH guidance. Your answers decide which background summary and safety prompts to show; they do not diagnose you or generate a treatment plan. Selecting no flags does not establish that a supplement is safe for you.

“Limited” means research for the stated goal is uncertain. “Need-specific” means a dietary need matters more than a broad benefit claim. “Condition-specific” means results should not be transferred between conditions or products. These are plain-language descriptions, not a formal systematic review. The training guide covers nutrition and protein; it does not assess every performance supplement.

UK public-health advice may differ from advice where you live. Sources and links checked . This is an editorial source check, not a claim of medical review. Published guidance can change.
